Letting Be

At some point in our lives we have come face to face with the physicality of our bodies. Generally we're not satisfied. I need to lose 10 pounds...I should be more tan....my muscles look flabby...IS THAT CELLULITE??? Why all the obsession? Okay, so we blame the media...now what? Is the media changing? NO! In all honesty it's not, and it won't be changing quickly enough to save our low self-esteems or our strange eating patterns or even eating disorders...so now what? Where do we go from here? We see on television all the fuss about the nation wide epidemic of obesity. What about the nation wide epidemic of personal self-loathing? I'd like to hear more reporting about that for a change. Rather than blaming society on our problems or searching for external means for finding happiness-why don't we look internally at ourselves? When we finally learn to release ourselves of the unrealistic desires of society and the ideals for the 'perfect body' we will truly be able to find peace. Listen to the needs of your own body, nurture it with healthy natural foods. As we feed ourselves with these nutrients our body will naturally follow in healthy pursuit. Not only will we look better we will also feel better! Natural is better! Be yourself!
